Q. Is this a regular course? Or correspondence/distance/part-time course?
A. This is a Regular course only.
Q. Is BNYS a doctor degree?
A. Yes, BNYS is considered a medical degree in the field of naturopathy and yogic sciences. Graduates are legally recognized as doctors of alternative medicine in India and can prefix “Dr.” before their name, subject to state regulations.
Q. After joining the course in your academy at Hyderabad, will I be able to complete all the course at academy alone? or do I have to travel to Asian institute anytime during 4.5 years?
A. Acu-Arogya Academy is the part of AIU (Asian International University), So no need to visit the Asian International University.
Q. What is Course Structure?
Total 5.5 years, consisting of 4.5 years of academic study and a 1-year mandatory internship.
Q. What is typical curriculum?
Curriculum combines modern science with naturopathy and yoga principles. Key subjects include:
-Anatomy and physiology
-Biochemistry and pathology
-Yoga philosophy and practice
-Naturopathic diagnosis and treatment methods like hydrotherapy, mud therapy, and acupressure
-Nutrition and diet therapy
-Counseling and psychotherapy
Q. Where will the exams held? Hyderabad or Asian college?
A. Exams will be held only at Academy campus i.e. Acu-Arogya academy, Hyderabad.
Q. After completion of the course, will the degree be visible in a government database like a Digi-locker for anyone to verify me?
A. Yes you can register with Digi-locker and other govt data base too
Q. Will i be able to hold the Dr. title after completing the course?
A. Yes, after completion of course you register with Board of Naturopathy, and Graduates are legally recognized as doctors of alternative medicine in India and can prefix “Dr.”. The “Ministry of Health and Family Welfare” has confirmed that practitioners with a recognized degree in BNYS are entitled to use the “Dr.” prefix.
Q. What is the Eligibility?
A. Candidates typically must have completed their 10+2 (or equivalent) with a minimum of 50% marks in the science stream (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), with English as a required subject.
Q. What is the admission procedure?
A. While NEET is not mandatory to do BNYS and DNYS, our Academy is affiliated with Asian International University (AIU), which is approved by Govt of India (UGC) to conduct BNYS and DNYS courses. So eligible candidates may contact us for admissions.
